Compound Machine

We had to build a coumpound machine, consisting of three simple machines. The simple machines we used were a pulley system, wheel and axle, and incline plane.

Mechanical Advantage

Effort=0.7

Resisistance=0.42

Mechanical Advantage=0.7/0.42

Mechanical Advantage is 1.667

For it to work, you spin the axle which rotates the gear. The string is then pulled by that and pulled through the pulley system. Finally, the object is pulled up the incline plane.
